My name is George!

George is 11 years old, turning 12 years old in January next year. This breed expect to live 15+ years or longer.
We had George since he was a puppy. We are relocating so are very sorry to have to find him a new family. He enjoys a variety of treats, and like many dogs enjoys a regular daily routine. George is very sweet and loving, however, he had some bad experiences at the vet when he was young, he will occasionally snap when he feels threatened or being forced to do something he doesn’t want to. In rare cases he has bitten fingers. He is very treat motivated, so very trainable. As long as he feels secure, he is a perfectly loving companion.
Because of George’s insecurity, it is necessary for him to go to a family that is calm, loving, patient, and no little kid, someone who is familiar with dog behaviors, and is experienced in training dogs. George always wears a harness and sleeps in a kennel at night. A kennel with dog bed will go with him for free.
