Howdy! My name is Mako and I'm an handsome 1.5-2yr old male German Shepherd. I am located near the Nashville, Tennessee area and am available for transport to my forever home!
Here are some fun facts about me & my ideal home!
1. I friendly, playful, curious, and have so much love to give! I was given up to a scary shelter and now that I've put in the work to heal emotionally, I'm ready for my forever home!
2. I get along great with other female doggos and would love to have one to play with when I'm adopted! It would be best if my new home did *not* have cats or small dogs.
3. I'm seeking a person or family who will treat me like a king, give me lots of belly rubs, yummy treats, take me on adventures, and let me cuddle up on the couch!
4. My favorite activities include exploring in the yard, sniffing individual blades of grass, being a sous chef in the kitchen, listing to 80s country music, watching action movies, and planning great outdoor adventures!
5. I'm a smart guy but could use some refreshers in obedience training. I'm eager to please & by training together, it will help us bond & prove to everyone I'm the smartest pup on the block!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
