His name is Roo but it really should be the Mayor…because Roo loves to be amongst the people and other dogs!
Roo is currently 9 month old purebred standard poodle. He is currently 34 Ibs.
He LOVES morning walks and is happy to greet every dog he meets along the way! He is now leash trained and doing great with a harness. He is doing great with his housebreaking as well.
One Roo’s sticking point is he does not love the crate - He even sleeps outside of a crate (He is a free roaming guy!) but is not destructive in the least!

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting

For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.
Our adoption fee is $850. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
