My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well look at that smile, too cute! Mia is estimated to be about 7 months old and weighs 45 pounds.

Mia has such an outgoing and playful personality, with a little bit of goofiness rolled in as well, so funny! She loves to lean in for love and snuggles after play time is over. Tennis balls make her very happy and she is hoping her new family would like to play ball with her. Mia does need some help with jumping up for attention, she will need an experienced adopter who knows how to establish themselves as a leader, set limits and work on basic obedience. She is a very smart girl and is looking for direction, she will just blossom with the right guidance. An active, fun family would be her dream and where any children are at least 8 years old. Mia has a lot of love to give and is looking for a forever home where she can grow up and make new memories.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Mia would love to meet them. She has an “all in” approach with other dogs and a bit pushy. She will need to learn some limits.

If you are interested in Mia and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
