My name is Hilda!

I rescued Hilda on the island on Maui, where I lived for the last 3.5 years. I found her in the woods with 2 puppies, coincidentally while I was looking for my other dog that ran away (we found her too!). Hilda was instantly the sweetest, most loving girl. I ended up keeping her and finding my other dog. Unfortunately, in October 2023 we made the difficult decision to leave Maui after the August 2023 wildfire. Since then, I have struggled financially and my other dog is experiencing some behavioral issues that are making life very difficult for the 3 of us. Hilda is the most loving lady and I just want to find her the home where she gets the love and attention she deserves.

I would love to find Hilda a home where we could still see her for puppy play dates, and I could even provide free dog sitting.

Hilda is reactive with other dogs, but after a couple of Introductions she loves to play! No cats, but other dog homes are an option!
