Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Edyan is a beautiful 2-month old female Belgian Malinois Shepherd/Mastiff mix puppy who was surrendered to the HSOV by her owner on July 8, 2024 along with her sister (Ziva) because he was no longer able to take care of them.

Edyan has a sleek black short smooth coat with brown shading on her chest/legs, huge paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with dark brown eyes, a wrinkled brow, a large muzzle, and large floppy ears.

These photos were taken on July 9th. Edyan and Ziva are sharing a small room of their very own just off the hallway in our shelter, and they are being showered with attention from our HSOV shelter staff, kennel techs, and volunteers.

This precious baby girl has a sweet, affectionate personality. She dearly loves her sister Ziva, and they epitomize the phrase 'happiness is a warm puppy' (smile). Edyan and Ziva are full of playful puppy mischief and don't take life too seriously.

Edyan weighed 21 lbs on July 8th when she entered our shelter.

If Edyan grows into gigantic paws, she will likely be a very large dog when she reaches maturity.

Edyan will be spayed before she is adopted (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be officially finalized), but she (and/or her sister Ziva) could be fostered-to-adopt with an approved HSOV adoption/foster application.
