Hello there, I'm Big Red! My life's been a whirlwind of hilarity, like the time I mistook a squirrel for a mailman. I chased that bushy-tailed rascal right into a dog shelter! Now, don't get me wrong, I've got a comfy bed here, but there's a lack of squirrels. I'm an energetic gal, always ready for an adventure. My curious nature keeps me sniffing out fun, and my independent streak means I'm not clingy. But I do love a good belly rub. If you're looking for a mellow, fun-loving companion, I'm your gal!

The LA/SPCA pet adoption process includes meeting with a matchmaker to match your lifestyle with the perfect companion. You will spend time with any of the pets you think would be a great companion. You may even want to come back another day to make sure he is the one! All of our animals must be spayed or neutered before you can take them home. Sometimes your perfect companion has not had this procedure done, so please be patient with us if you have to come back to pick him up.

All of our animals have been spayed or neutered before they are released for adoption. We encourage anyone with animals to spay or neuter their pets.
