Introducing Wirly, a two year old Cairn Terrier/Maltese cross clocking in at approximately 12lbs. This boy is the epitome of a snuggle bug and a big suck to boot. 🥹 When it comes to chin and head scratches, Wirly loves nothing more! Be warned that if he's beside you and you have the audacity to not pay attention to him, he will put his nose under your hand to pet and love him. Once he's had his fill, he'll move to the floor. 😂
Wirly is great with other dogs and he's very respectful of their space. A home with older kids would be ideal as sudden movements can scare him. Wirly definitely appreciates kids who approach him slowly and wait for him to complete the sniff test. 😚
Wirly enjoys going for walks, especially his evening walk and he's learning what a leash is all about. He prefers to follow his human and he does well not to pull.
Wirly isn't keen on being in his crate and would love to be where his humans are. He's also working hard on potty training and getting better with letting his people know when he needs out. With regular access to outside, Wirly will get it in no time! 😁
Wirly must have been an explorer in a past life because this boy is very curious and loves to explore his surroundings. Wirly tolerates his baths as long as his people move gently. 🛁 He recently enjoyed a swimming pool....it still counts if he was held the whole time and almost fell asleep. 😂
Wirly doesn't have many dislikes but his disdain for chicken-based dry food is clear because he will spit the food right out of his dish. 🤢
