Hello! My name is Ginger. I'm a young lady, approximately 1 year old. Sadly, I came from a hoarding situation and am ready now for a quiet and peaceful home with lots of love and understanding. I would do best with no small children, and I know nothing about dogs, so that may not work for me either. Because of my past, I startle easily. If you talk to me, I answer you with a quiet 'mew' and I 'huff' if I'm unhappy. My foster mom loves that I'm playful once I get to know you even though I seem very timid at first.

Go meet their pets

Every Saturday (except holiday weekends) we have adoptable cats at Petco on 72nd and Dodge in Omaha from 11am-3pm. Adoptable cats also live in cages there and are available during Petco's regular business hours. We also have cats ready for adoption at Petsmart in Council Bluffs. They are available during business hours as well.

By definition, the word "solace" means "that which furnishes comfort or consolation." Coincidentally, SOLAS, although it is spelled differently, provides the same thing for many unwanted dogs, cats, and other animals living in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area.
