Meet Zango! He`s a young, active, and loyal friend who`s full of energy and affection. This male 3 year old lab mix has an athletic build and very cute face. He`s extremely affectionate with an adventurous spirit. Zango is curious and smart and loves to explore, but also has a very gentle, soft side. He loves to play with his toys in the sunshine and then roll over on his back for his belly to be rubbed.
Zango is a good walker and would make an excellent adventure companion. He has really bonded with the staff and volunteers. He loves to run after toys that have been thrown for him. He routinely plays with other dogs at the shelter and seems to get along with many of them.
On adventure days, Zango has been to Lake Como, skiing at Skalkaho, and had several walks in downtown Hamilton. He visited the bookstore and even has his picture taken with Santa. On each occasion he rode well in the car, made friends and was well behaved.
Zango appears to have the qualities that make a great companion dog; a spirit of adventure, intelligence, loyalty and soft side that wants to be cuddled and held. He gives love and wants to be loved back.
