My name is Rachel!

Meet Rachel, a beautiful Anatolian Shepherd with a heart full of love and a spirit ready to shine. Rescued from euthanasia, Rachel arrived shy and reserved but has blossomed in her foster home, surrounded by the bustle of cats, chickens, and other dogs—all of which she calmly ignores.

When Rachel first arrived, she faced some medical challenges, but she’s now healthy and thriving. She enjoys outdoor adventures and loves being led on walks alongside a side-by-side vehicle, as her foster mom prefers to avoid a tumble. Rachel is happiest when playing with other dogs and has a gentle, loving nature that makes her a joy to be around.

Though we’re unsure if Rachel is house-trained, she’s bursting with affection and ready to be part of a family who will cherish her.
