Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Dachshund lovers beware! You will fall in love with Chardonnay on sight! This precious little one came from a hoarding situation with other small breeds, none of which had been spayed or neutered. Consequently we are unsure how many are actually purebred. Sadly, Chardonnay (and those who came in with her originally) did not appear to know a lot about love or socialization. Chardonnay has come a long way since she was adopted in August last year. However, she was returned and is looking for a new forever home. Chardonnay will need a very patient adopter who understands the quirks and habits of dogs from hoarding situations. We would definitely not recommend small children. Dogs generally have a fight or flight reaction when they are scared. Chardonnay chooses flight! She has figured out how to back out of a collar and can only be walked on a harness that fits well. Dogs can easily back out of harnesses as well if they are ill fitting. Email staci@hsscg.org for an application and/or more information. Chardonnay is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms.
