Meet August!
August is one handsome boy with the best hairline in the shelter! His unique markings make him stand out, but it’s his loving personality that will win you over. He has so much love to give and is waiting for someone to return that love.
He first arrived at the shelter in August, was adopted, and later returned when his family moved and left him behind. Now, he’s sad to be back and hoping to find a forever home where he’ll never be abandoned again.
August is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves to cuddle. He enjoys sniffing on walks and exploring his surroundings. He would likely prefer to be your one and only, as he can be a bit forward when meeting other dogs. Slow introductions, after proper decompression time, would be best. The CARE STL Volunteer Training Team is available to assist with introductions and any other training needs.
August is ready to snuggle up with a family of his own. He deserves a home where he will be safe, happy, and loved for life. Apply to Foster or Adopt August today!
