Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Scarlett is a 4-year-old American Shorthair. She was a stray, found on the roof of my girlfriend's mom's place of employment, yet has lived with us for 4 years with our older cat we previously already had prior to her. She was a kitten and was able to adapt to her early on.
While she got along well with this other cat, she has not displayed the same adaptability with other cats. We have since adopted a new kitten from a rescue during an adoption event and Scarlett has not adapted well. Scarlett is having trouble adjusting to a new kitten in the house and has been displaying some territorial behaviors. It has been quite some time and she has not adjusted despite our other older cat already adjusting to this new kitten.
Apart from this, Scarlett is a low-maintenance, cuddly cat who loves to jump on you and rub herself against you for affection. She would thrive in a loving home where she can be the center of attention without the stress of adapting to a new feline friend.
