‘T’ THEMED KITTEN: Approx. 7 months old / Approx. 5 lbs. & growing
Hi there, I’m Tessa – one of the adorable ‘T’ themed Tuxedo kittens who came to Mostly Mutts as an owner turn-in. I’m having fun at the shelter with my kitty friends and all the really nice volunteers that come to take care of and spend time with me. I hear that I’m now ready to find my furever family, and I’m very excited about that!
• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I’ve been making friends in the Kitty Room at the shelter. It has been very beneficial in helping me overcome my shyness to have a playmate – especially my roommate Calvin. If you have a kitty at home already, let’s meet! / I haven’t met dogs yet, so if you have a gentle dog that likes kitties, let’s meet. / I also have not met kids, so if you have kids that know how to gently handle a kitty, let’s meet and best no toddlers or very young kids.
• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: The volunteers say that I’m sweet, and that I like it when they come sit in my room and let me come to them for a lap visit or a petting opportunity. As I get to know you and my shyness wanes, I will show my playful side – provided the room is not too noisy or has lots of commotion going on. I’m a neat kitty who keeps my sleek black coat clean with frequent grooming sessions. I’m settling in nicely in the Kitty Room, and my cute personality is coming out more and more each day!
• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I have grown comfortable with and enjoy the kitten room that I’m in at Mostly Mutts. I’m interested in playing with the stick end of the wand toy when it is partially hidden under a light blanket - lol. I like to explore the volunteers when they sit with me and am open to giving and receiving affection while we hang out in the room together. Lap time is great with my favorite volunteers, and I look forward to developing the same rapport with my furever family. I pick my lounging spots and prefer the warm sunny window or the seclusion of a hiding spot under a table. / Fast movements and loud noises startle me. Otherwise, I can’t think of any dislikes though I am sure I would not like it if I didn’t get the love and attention all kitties deserve.
• MEDICAL: I’ve started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I’m spayed and microchipped.
I’m looking for a quiet home with an understanding and patient human with whom I can bond for life! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
