Meet Lola: A Shy Beauty Ready to Blossom

Lola is a gorgeous, unique girl who is still finding her confidence with people but shows so much potential to become a loving companion. She enjoys being near her humans, even if she’s not quite ready for too much touching yet. With patience and a gentle approach, Lola is sure to flourish into the sweet and affectionate cat she’s meant to be.

This playful girl loves toys and enjoys romping with other friendly, playful cats so a home with another friendly cat is a must for her. She’s a bit shy around people but is highly food-motivated, which can be a great tool for building trust. Lola does have a sensitive tummy, and we’re working on fine-tuning her diet to keep her feeling her best.

Lola’s ideal home is a quiet, calm environment with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. If you’re ready to provide the love and understanding she needs, Lola will reward you with her quiet beauty and playful spirit.

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
