Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**NOTE: Currently, Doson is in Korea, but we are looking for her forever home in Toronto. Her flight from Korea to Toronto is scheduled for Aug 25.
Background: Doson and her sister, Oson, were rescued from a neglectful situation where their owner kept them in a kennel and often left them without enough food or fresh water. A colleague persuaded the owner to give up the dogs, and they were eventually surrendered. They moved to our partner boarding house in the spring, where they received full vet checkups, vaccinations, spaying, and microchipping. Now, Doson is ready to find her forever home.
Personality and Socialization: Doson is calm and gentle with medium energy. She’s very friendly and isn’t shy around new people. She loves spending time with people and enjoys sitting on their laps. With her laid-back attitude and happy nature, she gets along well with everyone she meets.
Behaviors: Doson doesn’t have much experience walking on a leash, but she loves being outside and exploring with her nose. She’s very well-behaved and patient, even though she’s still young. She’s comfortable with baths and grooming and does okay in the car, though she might get a little nervous. She’s adaptable and eager to learn new things. Despite her age, she’s not demanding or destructive. She’s pretty quiet indoors and rarely barks.
Health and Diet: Doson has completed all her medical exams and is in great health, ready for her new family. She’s vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and receives regular parasite treatments. Doson enjoys Acana dry kibble, which she eats twice a day. She currently has no known allergies.
Ideal Home: Doson would do best with a family where someone works from home or is retired and has plenty of time to spend with her. She’s perfect for anyone looking for a sweet and easygoing companion. She’s very loving and easy to care for.
