Meet Avis, a playful and affectionate pup with a perfect mix of energy and independence. Avis knows how to sit, walks nicely on a leash, and loves playing with his favorite toys. With his silly and fun-loving personality, he's always ready to brighten your day. There are even hints that he might already be potty trained. If you're looking for a balanced companion who enjoys both playtime and a bit of alone time, Avis could be just the dog for you!
On 8/14/24 Avis met another dog, Harmony (38686). She was appropriate in her greetings and often submissive in her interactions. She prefers people and loves getting pets and attention. Harmony attempted to engage in rough play (vocal, mouthy). Avis tolerated it for quite a while. Eventually she gave a small correction. Harmony backed off briefly, but then continued to pester her. "Avis is very treat motivated. Once she realized that they were in my pack, she was laser focused on it. This made her very obedient and helped curb her puppy energy."

Our standard adoption fee is $75 for dogs and $70 for cats. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test (and treatment medication if needed) for dogs, FeLV test for cats, collar, leash for dogs, and a customized ID tag.
All adoptions must be completed in-person and require a driver's license and payment in the form of cash or a credit/debit card. MAS does not accept checks for adoption fees.
