Hetty is a lively and charming 3-year-old dog with a friendly and energetic personality. Recently, she had the chance to attend the Irvington Halloween festival, where she was completely unfazed by the large crowds, other dogs, and the array of spooky costumes. Curiosity is her nature, and she was eager to explore every corner of the festival, pulling on the leash as she went. Once out of the busy area, she calmed down, walking nicely on the leash. Hetty is well-behaved, knowing how to sit on command, and she loves a tasty hotdog treat. She also has a great trick up her sleeve—she`ll catch treats mid-air if you drop them! Always friendly and non-reactive to other dogs, Hetty is a joy to be around, making her an ideal companion for active individuals or families.
Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving with you. To view our current available animals, please visit: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet.
