My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lilo recently came to ARC with another kitty because her guardian could no longer care for them. She is a gentle, easy-going kitty and has adjusted nicely to her new surroundings. She is good with staff and volunteers and welcomes petting from all—including strangers.

Complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this gently, good-natured kitty. See for yourself how she totally deserves a home where she can feel secure and loved forever!

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
