Bethany came to us as a stray with a male dog who has since been adopted. She’s been in our care for nearly 6 months and is estimated to be about 4.5 years old. She’s quite the lazy gal and enjoys a good snooze on her bed, your couch, your lap, whichever you prefer. She is gentle with taking treats and can sometimes be a bit fussy with food (human food though she doesn’t mind 😉). Bethany walks well on leash but is reactive to other dogs, therefore she still needs a strong handler to be able to redirect and handle her. She loves stuffy toys, wearing sweaters, and going for leisurely walks. Bethany already knows some basic commands and does not mess in her kennel. She would thrive in a home with a fenced in yard where she can casually stroll about and conduct her business. She would love to be your one and only if you’ll have her. She’d prefer a home with no young children but loves every adult she meets. If you can find it in your heart to open your home to this sweet girl, please submit an application today. Adoption by appointment only with an approved adoption application. Please go to www.easelnj.org/adopt to submit an adoption application. Someone will be in touch within 48 hours.
