Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Hezley! This lively girl is named after the youngest female gymnast from the 2024 Paris Olympics! Hezley is a playful puppy in search of a family that recognizes her need for guidance and structure to thrive in her new environment. She has interacted well with other dogs, but would thrive best with a playful and active companion who matches her spirited nature. If you`re in the market for a dog brimming with love and energy, Hezley is the perfect match for you!

Hezley is a quick learner, eager to pick up on new tricks and commands with the right encouragement and treats. Her bright eyes and wagging tail will surely bring joy and laughter to any household. If you`re ready to welcome a spirited companion into your life, Hezley is waiting to meet you. With a little patience and plenty of playtime, she is sure to become a beloved member of your family, offering unconditional love and loyalty for years to come. Apply today to meet this sweet girl!

More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
