Im super playful with other dogs and incredibly curious about catsmy best friend is a cat, after all! Id be happiest in a home with other animals I can be friends with. When Im left alone with my furry buddies, Im calm and quiet, but if Im left completely alone, I do get pretty anxious. Im still learning some of the basics like crate time and walks, but Im a quick learner, especially if there are treats involved! That said, I do need a little extra help with car ridesI get pretty bad motion sickness, and the vet recommends meds to make trips easier for everyone. I may be shy when I first meet new people, but once I warm up, youll see my playful, affectionate side. Applications are submitted and reviewed against a pet bio that is prepared by the foster. This allows for a match of the family to the pet.

Screening questions are completed to confirm match before meet and greet

Meet the Pet
Dog up for adoption, the applicant and foster meet.

Home Check
A virtual home visit along with 2 reference checks is done to confirm safe and suitable home (one reference is a vet if possible)
5.
Approve Application
A call with the applicant and adoption team is held to finalize, and then send contract.
6.
Sign Adoption Contract
Contract and addendum if needed is sent to the applicant.
7.
Pay Fee
After the adoption donation and contract are received, the adoption is considered final. Then pick up the new family member and take home
