Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Arthur is a sweet, curious, and lovable young dog with a big heart and an even bigger presence! As an extra large dog with a playful, bouncy personality, Arthur is looking for a special home with an experienced, dog-savvy owner who can offer him the guidance and structure he needs. His new family should be comfortable with positive reinforcement training and have patience while working with Arthur to continue to build his confidence as he navigates new situations, people, and environments.
Arthur can be a bit nervous when encountering unfamiliar things or people, so he’s looking for someone who can provide a calm and supportive environment. While he may thrive in a home with another dog, we’re unsure about how he feels around cats. Arthur has shown some fearfulness in new situations, including some stranger danger and resource guarding behaviors that in some cases have resulted in bites. He is currently on behavior medication and enrolled to work privately with a behaviorist to improve on these behaviors.
Due to his size and energy, Arthur would do best in a home without small children or elderly individuals who could be unintentionally knocked over. With the right guidance and understanding, Arthur will flourish into a confident, loyal companion for the right person or family. If you're ready to give this sweet, brave boy the love and support he needs, Arthur just might be the perfect addition to your home!

Pasado’s Safe Haven was founded in 1997 in honor of “Pasado“, a beloved donkey who was tortured to death by three teenage boys. Located on 85 acres in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, we are a non-profit on a mission to end animal cruelty.
In addition to investigating animal cruelty crimes and providing sanctuary and rehabilitation to animals who have suffered from abuse and neglect, we also advocate for better laws to protect animals and work to educate the public about how they can help end animal suffering. Through our uniquely comprehensive programs, we are able to help thousands of animals every year and spread a message of compassion to countless people.
