Life wasn’t kind to Belle Noelle before entering rescue.

This petite labby/pittie mix was found as an emaciated stray and brought to the local shelter. Unfortunately for Belle, being heart worm positive, needing FHO surgery, and overlooked next to the tiny puppies she kenneled near- her time was running out.

Our rescue partner Sarah saw the beauty in this gal that so many missed and sprung her from the shelter. Belle’s journey to getting healthy and leading a happy life had officially begun.

Sarah nursed Belle through heart worm treatment, FHO surgery and getting her weight up before this sweet pup came to us here in New England.

Belle has been in foster care with other dogs and has made for a great doggy roommate. When on leash, Belle is working on her manners and seems to thrive best in the suburbs. Her foster family has such great feedback on their time with her and shares she is an incredibly easy houseguest!

Home Check

After we have spoken with your references & completed our initial call, will be scheduling a 5-10 minute home visit via FaceTime or Zoom.

Once you are fully approved, and have chosen a PAL, We will set up a meet and greet.

Please make sure to let all of your references know we will be calling( including landlord, personal references and Veterinarian office)

More about this rescue

The Gals Best Pal Rescue Mission is to be a voice for the voiceless as it advocates for the dogs in its care while finding them safe, suitable, caring homes. The organization works with likeminded partners across the country and throughout the state of Massachusetts to rescue unwanted animals experiencing neglect, abuse, homelessness or at risk of euthanasia. The rescue also strives to make a difference for many unwanted dogs from different unfortunate situations. It does this by providing nurturing foster homes, promoting the importance of responsible dog ownership and, most importantly, spaying and neutering every dog that comes through the rescue as it aims to cut back on the overpopulation crisis occurring in many shelters and rescues across the nation.
