My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky Road had a tough start to life, but this loving boy has never lost his sweetness. Rocky was brought into foster with his 5 tuxedo brothers and had a bad eye infection. We tried to save the eye with various medications. Ultimately, Rocky ended up losing his eye, but he has adapted very well. Because of all the treatments and medications he needed in his early life, Rocky wasn’t fond of being picked up, as it often meant yucky medication comes next. This made Rocky become a little timid, but he is now opening up again and enjoys getting treats, playing with wand toys, pets, and cuddles from people he trusts. Belly rubs are his favorite! When you approach him, he will roll over to show you his belly, asking for attention. He’s never met a treat he doesn’t like! Rocky does well with other cats and dogs after gradual introductions. He is a very special boy that deserves a special home. Please consider giving Rocky his happily ever after!

All of our felines live in foster homes. All of our animals are vaccinated, spayed and neutered, and microchipped before they are deemed ready to be adopted. Pricing Varies per Animal.

Please note Heaven Can Wait does NOT declaw our animals. We do however, pull many from local shelters that have already had this procedure as they are just as deserving of finding furever homes as all of the other kitties.

Go meet their pets

Our pets reside in foster homes with loving and friendly families and a host of other cats and sometimes dogs. This allows them to live in a safe and comfortable home until they are adopted to their forever homes. Please come and visit our cats and kittens at Muskegon's Petco on Harvey Street near TJMaxx. We are there on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4:00p. Call us about specific animals and keep updated via our pet profiles and on Facebook!
