My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zena is a 40 lb husky mix. She's gorgeous and SO sweet once you are in her circle. She has a little stranger danger and probably needs a no cat, and no chicken home. She would be great as an only dog too. She can get skittish with people standing, walking toward her, certain arm placements at first as well. She just wants to stay home, in her yard or neighborhood, with her person.

She loves leash walks and car rides but doesn't like going into places. "Peopling" is low on the enjoyment list.

As soon as we go on our walks she's so peaceful and happy.

All of our animals are housed in foster homes, so once an application is approved, the adopter will be contacted for a meet and greet. If all goes well, the adopter signs an adoption contract and is allowed a short trial. Once the trial is complete, and the adoption goes through, the adoption fee will be processed. Adoption fees vary by dog.
