Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Starlette! This delightful 6-month-old black Domestic Shorthair weighs around 7 pounds and is ready to shower her new family with love and joy.
Though petite in size, Starlette's heart is as big as her personality. She loves to follow you around, gently meowing and rubbing against your ankles, and she's always happy to curl up next to your feet at night. Whether you're moving about the house or settling in for a nap, Starlette is eager to be near you. She's also incredibly sociable with other cats, handling even the grumpiest of companions with grace. Children of all ages adore her too-she's patient, sweet, and remains calm even in the midst of playful chaos. And of course, she's fully litter box trained!
Starlette is a curious and playful little adventurer who loves to explore. She'll keep you entertained with her energetic antics, while also offering all the snuggles and affection you could ask for. If you're looking for a loving, fun, and cuddly companion, Starlette is the perfect match!
Starlette is being fostered in Manhattan, NY. The adoption fee for a single kitten is $150 and a pair of kittens is $200.
All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, combo tested, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the pet you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
