Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
About Me:
I'll be honest - I'm still learning about this whole "being part of a family" thing. While I might seem reserved at first, I'm actually quite the gentleman on walks and have a soft spot for fetch games in quiet yards. I'm selective about my friendships, both with humans and other dogs, because I believe the best relationships are built on trust and understanding.
My perfect day includes peaceful leash walks (no pulling - I'm quite proud of my manners!), exploring nature trails, and having quality one-on-one time with my trusted humans. I'm particularly fascinated by squirrels, though I always maintain my composure during our wildlife watching sessions! While I might not be ready for dog parks or busy social scenes, I can potentially build friendships with calm, respectful canine companions given time and proper introductions.
What I'm Looking For:
An experienced, patient adult who understands that good things take time. My perfect match would be someone who:
- Has experience with shy, cautious dogs and appreciates the reward of earning trust
- Lives in a peaceful adult-only home
- Is committed to working with trainers (I come with a free training session!)
- Values structured training and positive reinforcement
- Understands that initial shyness doesn't mean a lack of love - I just need time to show my true self
Special Notes:
I'll need someone who's willing to be my advocate and teacher. My new family should be prepared for structured training and understand that I need a gradual approach to new experiences. I may be cautious with strangers at first, but with patience and positive reinforcement, I've shown amazing progress. Think of me as a fine wine - I just get better with time!
