Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
A truly remarkable & resilient stray off the streets this girl has been through it. She is blind and came to us completely matted, skinny, with horrible skin, and masses in her mammary chain. After getting her healthy enough for surgery & all vetting completed, she is now ready for her forever hm. She is around 10 yrs of age, loves being w her people and her pack. She is cat friendly, dog friendly w all my small dogs. She has cataracts but they don't phase her. I live in a 2024 sqft hm and she has learned my house quickly. She hangs w us in the living room, goes out to potty when the others do & follows us all to bed and gets in her doggy bed and sleeps nearby. Potty trained, she might have an accident every now and then but she has caught on quickly. I do not have children so I am not sure how she would be w them. She is very playful and happy. A very sweet tempered and loyal dog. She will make someone a very wonderful companion. I will miss her so much when she is gone. It's a privilege & honor to be her foster mom.
Adoption fee $150
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

More about this rescue
CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
