Artie thrives on human connection—he loves to be around people, soaking up attention and returning it tenfold with cuddles and nuzzles. He’s a social guy who will want to be with his people, so if you're looking for a little furry shadow/amazing lap warmer, Artie might be your match.
Artie has a urinary/bladder condition that can flare up, typically due to stress, which is why finding him a stable, low-stress environment is so important. He’s on a prescription diet that helps prevent these flare-ups and will remain on it long-term. Post-adoption, Bideawee will cover the cost of his special food and any related medical care. Our team is happy to provide more information about his needs and how to ensure he continues to thrive in a loving home.

We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. If they are in Wantagh or in a foster home, please submit an online application and our team will reach out to further discuss the adoption process. Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given their age-appropriate vaccines.

After a Zoom meeting, we will schedule an in-person interaction at the shelter so you can meet the pet and take them home with you same day!
