Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Obi is a playful and loyal companion looking for his forever home. He has spent the past five months in a loving foster environment, where he has proven to be both energetic, cuddly, and independent. His foster family says that he enjoys playtime and getting the zoomies, but he’s also content napping in the sun and stretching like a cat. Obi has lived with a variety of people, including college students and a family with children, and he has done well in both settings. He loves running around with kids and has played happily with children ages 9-16. With other dogs, he can be vocal and excitable, especially on walks, but in controlled play environments, he enjoys chasing and playing gently. He has not been exposed to cats. Food-motivated and always up for a game of tug-of-war, Obi is a smart dog who quickly warms up to new people when given a chance to approach them first. He can be more cautious when strangers enter his space but adjusts within about 10 minutes, especially with positive interactions and treats. Obi is house-trained and crate-trained, choosing to sleep at night in his crate. He’s also comfortable being alone for periods of time. He loves all kinds of walks—short, long, or hikes in the woods—and enjoys exploring new scents and surroundings. His fosters care deeply about him and want to see him find a great home. If you’re looking for a fun, loyal, and adventurous companion, Obi could be the perfect match!
