My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow was living in a mobile home that was about to be fumigated for bugs. Several in the community were trying to rescue a litter of kittens from under the trailer when the tenant told them he was planning to leave Shadow behind. He didn't care if she suffered or died. He let them take her and we made room for her. Sweetest girl despite living with horrible people. She is front declawed.
Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Home visits are required so we are limit adoptions to counties adjoining Linn County, Iowa.
Iowa adoptions only -no out of state adoptions.

All adopters must fill out an application available at our Adoption Center.
References will be checked and all animals in the household must be spayed/neutered and current on rabies vaccination. We conduct a home visit and have a contract for all adoptions. The adoption fee is $100 for one and $150 for two cats adopted at the same time. The adoption fee may be reduced for senior and special needs cats.
