Milo is a 2 yr old handsome Whippet mix who is currently with one of our amazing foster families. He's at such a great age--young but now past the puppy energy stage. His foster fur siblings have taken him under their wing and he is enjoying both indoor and outdoor play. He is learning to navigate stairs which he found to be very scary at first. He is perfecting his potty training and fine tuning his leash skills. We are getting the cutest pics of him playing with toys and curled up on the couch relaxing with his family. Milo is very comfortable in his crate and considers it his safe space. The crate is the foundation of success for all other training so skies the limit for Milo. Most importantly, Milo rocks a comfy sweater or a bandana. He is instagram ready with the cutest ears you'll ever see on a dog. There is a lucky family out there who will get a well trained, confident, medium sized dog who is great with other dogs and likely to do well with kids of all ages. Apply to meet sweet Milo.
The adoption fee is $350 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.
Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.
*****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.
