Hi I'm Rosie!
I'm an active 5 year old gal who loves to go for walks with the volunteers. I'd love to have a person who could spend time to bring me to training and help me learn all the things I didn't get to learn when I was little. Now that I'm an 'adult', I know just what kind of family would be best for me: since I can be a bit picky with other dogs, and guarded with my space, so I'd be best as the only dog in the family. Cats are probably not a good idea either! Even though I have a couple of special living needs, I'm a great gal who just needs a family to prove it to!

When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, and the most guesses were that I'm a Boxer mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!!
**Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.
Here's what the Ark volunteers say about me: Rosie is a very active dog and is protective of her space. She will do best in a home with someone that is active. She would benefit from some dog training. She needs to be in a home without any other dogs. She walks on leash well most of the time and loves to run and play. She is a good snuggles!
