My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

James is a medium sized, medium energy level american pit bull terrier mix that would thrive in a home with a backyard and a dog friend that likes to play. He is house trained and crate trained. James LOVES his humans and is the kind of dog that you can bathe, trim nails, take food and toys away etc with zero issues once he is comfortable. James is nervous of new people so will bark and act like a tough guy, but has been in training and is making strides. When in a home with a confident dog James is much calmer about strangers coming into his space. James has had fairly minimal interactions with our cats, but appears to want to play with him. James' ideal home would be a quieter family with no small kids (I think he would knock them over or smack them with his tail) with another playful dog (or five, James really loves other dogs) and a backyard.
