Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tango! 🐾
Tango may not be able to hear you call his name, but he’ll sure steal your heart with every wag of his tail! This 10-month-old Aussie mix is a bundle of love, playfulness, and just the right amount of couch potato vibes.
Tango’s got a fun quirk—he’s obsessed with chasing shadows! It’s his favorite game, and watching him zoom around trying to catch them will definitely bring a smile to your face. When he’s not hunting shadows, he’s either cuddling up on the couch, giving sweet hugs, or looking at you with those soulful eyes, hoping for some attention. He truly believes he’s a lap dog—prepare for the best snuggles!
Though Tango is deaf, he’s one smart cookie and has already mastered house training and the doggie door. He’s eager to learn more hand commands and is incredibly responsive to his people. He’s a quiet guy, which is just one of the many things that makes him such a peaceful companion! Tango is a gentle soul who loves everyone—babies, kids, and grandparents included! He’s also great with other dogs, easily following their lead and joining in the fun. Tango has even stolen the show at adoption events, though he’s been known to snooze right through the excitement!
Tango’s crate trained and always up for some playtime with chew toys or a wrestling match with a furry friend. He’s got a calm and submissive nature, and he just wants to make you happy. Whether you're looking for a playful companion or a chill buddy to cuddle with, Tango is the perfect match!
Everyone who meets him falls in love instantly—and we’re sure you will too. Could Tango be the gentle, loving companion you’ve been looking for?

After being approved by a team member, you'll be able to schedule a meet and greet with the pup that best matches your needs.
All of our pets are in private foster homes and many times the meeting will happen in a safe public location.
All animals are available to begin their home trials once the meeting has concluded and the rescue agrees to allow the pet to move forward to this stage.
