My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Penguin, a young boy with a heart full of love. Once a timid soul, he has blossomed into a sweet, friendly, and playful cat. His journey has been one of transformation, from shy to outgoing, a testament to his resilience and love for life. He has a charming personality that's hard to resist. His playfulness is infectious and his affectionate nature is heartwarming. Penguin is not just a cat, he's a companion, a friend, a source of joy. He has the ability to turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary one with his antics. His sweet purrs can soothe the toughest of days. Adopting Penguin means welcoming a bundle of joy and love into your life. He's ready to be a part of a family that will cherish him and in return, he promises a lifetime of love, laughter, and companionship.

More about this rescue

We are dog and cat lovers who want to help decrease the number of healthy pets being euthanized. We do this through adopting pets to caring homes and by spaying and neutering every pet before it is adopted out. We operate a Thrift store named Critters, which is volunteer run with all money brought goes to support our "No Kill" rescue. Critters is located on the same property as our shelter. We take in homeless animals because they are in need and are unable to help themselves.
