RESCUE ONLY: Athena is just a puppy who is overwhelmed with the high volume of strangers. She is very nervous around strangers and needs time to warm up. Once she is comfortable, she is an absolute love bug. She LOVES other dogs and seems to blossom more while she is around them. We are looking for a rescue partner who can give this girl the proper training she needs to flourish.

Adoption Fees are $10-$100 and pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and given wormer and flea prevention. Dogs 6 months and older are tested for heartworm and cats are tested for FIV/FeLV.

$100 Puppies and kittens six (6) months and under six (6) months of age

Irving Animal Services is a division of the Irving Police Department, and it maintains a safe and secure city by providing a healthy environment for humans and animals living in Irving.

In 2010, the City of Irving constructed a 26,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Animal Care Campus that includes cat condos with window views, a dog park and spacious kennels. The campus is shared with DFW Humane Society.
