My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beefy, handsome and sweet, Bubbles is adored by all who meet him. He’s a total charmer, and just so easy to love!!

Estimated to be around 2 years old, Bubbles weighs in at a snuggly and sweet 67 pounds. We believe that Bubbles is a Pittie mix of some sort, and he has the classic blocky head to prove it! Such a handsome guy! Bubbles is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses.

Watch Bubble’s here: https://youtu.be/GqZMFB_e5j0?feature=shared

Bubbles is currently fostered in a loving home with his dedicated foster family. “He’s just so calm and collected,” his foster mom says about him. She says she recently had an 8 hour virtual meeting, and all he did was lay next to her all day. He’s really such a perfect work from home companion! She says he loves other dogs, and frequently hangs out with an 11 pound Maltipoo. That teeny tiny girl will bully big old Bubbles, and Bubbles just lets her! He’s so tolerant and sweet. Bubbles also recently had the pleasure of experiencing a Texas snow day! He loved the snow, and didn’t want to go back inside. Safe to say, this guy would love to live somewhere snowy.

Bubbles is so people-loving, and expresses his affection by way of snuggles and kisses. We’re confident that it will be love-at-first-sight when he meets his forever family. He’s so tolerant and doesn’t mind being manhandled, poked, prodded or even dressed up. This good lookin’ guy even sported some sunglasses for us here at the rescue!

Bubbles is wonderful with other dogs too, tolerant and up-to-the-challenge of puppy playfulness, but also very respectful with older, less playful dogs. He has a wonderfully balanced energy level that allows him to play with other dogs, but also spend entire days lounging happily around the house.

Bubbles has so much personality- he’s this lovable goofball with so much softness and gentleness. He’s especially fond of toys, and celebrates each new toy he receives with gratitude and happy dances. He takes each new toy into the back yard for an inaugural romp, an adorable little ritual. He’s so sweet and thankful for treats too, he gets so excited for them, takes them so gently and gobbles them up with such happiness. He’s food motivated, and his foster mom has found success in training him with treats!

Bubbles has all the skills a good dog needs- he’s good on leash, good in the car, he knows a handful of basic commands, he’s great with people and so friendly, he’s good in his crate.

This boy is also a CHAMP at bath time, we wouldn’t say that he necessarily enjoys his baths, he looks heartbroken for the duration of any bath, but he does sit still, patiently allowing his foster mom to wash him. He’s very brave!!! See his bath-time sad face for yourself in his video.

While we haven’t seen Bubbles with kids just yet, we believe this beefy babe would make a great family dog!

Sweet Bubbles is so great with other dogs, we believe he could live in a home with just about any type of dog- big, small, lazy or playful, Bubbles loves them all. He currently is fostered with a puppy, and does really well with him! Bubbles would be happy to become a member of your pack, but he would also absolutely love to be a solo dog. ALL of your affection? Just for him? Sign Bubbles up! Here at the rescue, Bubbles was cat-tested by our behavior team, and we do recommend him for a kitty free home. We think Bubbles would be happiest in a home with a yard. In his foster home, he loves to sunbathe and hang out in the yard for as long as his foster mom will let him. He’s such a little outdoorsman!

Bubbles is such a sweet, loyal and fun dog, with so much love to give. He’s a rescue staff favorite, a beloved addition to his neighborhood- seriously, his foster mom’s neighbors come over just for doggy play dates with Bubbles. He’s just so lovable. He’s easy-peasy, he just needs a little affection, a little adventure, and a couple treats daily. Bubble’s has waited far too long for his forever home already- don’t make him wait, apply today! We are willing to test Bubbles with ANYTHING you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.

Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!

Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.

The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.

It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!

Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
