My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

EMERGENCY MEDICAL PLACEMENT DEADLINE 3PM 09/22/24
Name: Daria
Animal ID: A849345
Age: 2y
Weight: 19lbs
About: Daria came to PACC as a stray and has a bone fracture in her spine. She cannot walk and cannot urinate on her own. She is very good about staff expressing her bladder to be emptied about 2-3 times a day. She is very sweet! She has an unknown history with animals, kids, etc. and has been at PACC for a couple weeks now. She has met another calm dog at PACC and was appropriate, but we recommend slow intros at home or bringing your furry friend along!

PACC is OVERCROWDED with 560+ animals in its shelter!!

Key Considerations:
•Bladder Expressions: Easily expressed and recommended it be done 2-3 times daily.
•Unknown history with other dogs: PACC can facilitate a meet and greet with your dog(s) to see if it’s a match!

Adoption/Foster Process:
•Visit PACC: Potential adopters must visit PACC before 3 pm on Sunday, September 22nd, to meet Daria.
•Meet and Greet: Please bring any dogs in the home to meet to make sure it’s a fit!
•Medical counseling: You will have the opportunity to discuss Daria’s medical with PACC clinic staff before going home and be shown how to perform bladder expressions.
•She is available for foster/rescue or adoption:
If you believe you can provide a loving and supportive home for her, please reach out to us today!
