Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pellets: 1/8 cup Oxbow essential young pellet and 1/8 cup Oxbow essential adult pellet (for 3-4 weeks starting 1/16/25)
Hay: Unlimited mixed hay + a handful of alfalfa hay
Salad: 1x a day 1 cup spring mix, parsley, cilantro, romaine lettuce
This energetic little guy is looking for a loving home! He loves to zoom around his pen and play area, doing some crazy binkies! He's outgoing and curious, and always eager to check out what you're up to. The moment you step into the room, he’ll eagerly run up to greet you, full of curiosity, sniffing, and even climbing all over you! He’s a pro at using his litterbox, too. While he’s affectionate on his terms, he’s not a fan of being held and will squirm to get away if picked up—he might even vocalize his displeasure to let you know he prefers his paws on the ground! This bunny needs plenty of enrichment to keep him happy, so be prepared to provide lots of toys and treat puzzles. If you're ready for a fun, interactive companion, look for Coco!
Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. The virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit. Please make sure to vaccinate your rabbits every year. For more information, please visit our website at: https://sandiegorabbits.org/education/rhdv

More about this rescue
We are a volunteer-driven organization working in San Diego County for nearly 25 years. We want to ensure that rabbits are not adopted out unaltered, that they find good homes where they will be cherished as indoor family companions, and that we educate our community on the responsible care of indoor rabbit companions.
