My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available.

Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups.   Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete.  When applying pictures/videos of your fully enclosed yard is needed.

Please only send inquiries to the email in this bio all others will not be answered. Please read the bio before sending questions - we answer all we know about the dog here. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com

Meet Bear – Your New Best Friend (and Professional Happiness Expert)

Bear’s life didn’t start with sunshine and belly rubs. Rescued from a rural Florida shelter where he narrowly escaped euthanasia, this lovable goofball is now thriving in his foster home and ready to bring joy to his forever family. Bear’s motto? “Life’s short—play hard, love harder, and always dance for dinner.”

This boy lives every day like it’s his best yet. Whether he’s zooming around the yard, wrestling his foster siblings (even Mira, the queen of aloofness, can’t resist him), or playing an intense game of “Keep Away,” Bear’s energy is infectious. He’s the life of the party and makes sure everyone—two-legged or four—joins in on the fun. Even cats get a taste of Bear’s playful personality (though they occasionally remind him to take it down a notch).

Mealtime is a sacred event for Bear, complete with his signature happy dance and an obedient sit that screams, “Look how good I am! Now please feed me.” Once the day’s adventures are done, he’s all about the snuggles, happily snoozing on his human or doggy siblings like they’re custom-made pillows.

Bear is a bundle of energy who needs a family ready to keep up with his playful spirit. He’s a leash-walking champ and eager to learn, especially if there are treats involved. While he’s still perfecting his house-training skills (he might occasionally throw in a “surprise!” if you’re a little slow getting him outside), his progress has been amazing. Patience, understanding, and an active lifestyle will bring out the best in this lovable pup.

If you’re looking for a dog who’ll make every day feel like a celebration, Bear’s your guy. His gratitude for life is as big as his heart, and he’s ready to fill your home with endless love, laughter, and a little bit of chaos (the fun kind). Are you ready to be the lucky one who gives Bear the happy-ever-after he’s been waiting for?

Bear's Adoption fee is $400 - Obedience training after adoption and fully enclosed front or back yard is required - NOT DOG PARKS
