Hey there, I’m Harry, and I’m a total daddy’s boy! My favorite thing is hanging out with my person, especially if you’re someone who enjoys having a loyal sidekick by your side. Whether we’re relaxing on the couch, exploring the backyard, or just chilling, I’ll be your steadfast buddy.
I’m an outdoor enthusiast. I’m not big on leashes (they’re just not my thing!), so a fenced yard would be good for me. I love being outside!
I use pee pads since I have Cushing’s. It’s no big deal, really—it just means I pee more often than your average pup. With some regular vet care and a consistent routine, managing my Cushing’s is totally doable.
I’m independent but affectionate, and I’ll come looking for some love when I’m in the mood.
If you’re looking for a fun-loving, outdoorsy pup with a dash of independence and a lot of heart, I might be the perfect match for you.
Cushing’s disease in dogs happens when there’s an overproduction of cortisol. While it might sound scary, it’s manageable with proper care. I take medication to help regulate things. You might notice I drink more water and need to pee more often—that’s just part of who I am, and as long as we stick to my routine, I’m good to go.

Even if you do not see a dog that matches what you're looking for, you may fill out a no obligation application at https://daretorescue.org/adoption-application and we will work to find a match for you.
We receive dogs into foster care frequently, so it is impossible to have every available or soon-to-be-available dog on the website.
