WANNA GET LUCKY? MEET LUCKY!!
Lucky is a 5 year old male small beagle available for adoption from
AWL since 9/4/24. Lucky loves going out for walks, wet food, and
getting belly rubs! Lucky has come a long way since arriving at the
shelter. He`s a KEEPER!! We also have Lucky`s son, Kingston available
for adoption. They are BFF`s and love to play together. Lucky is
looking for his best friend! Could that be you? Lucky is available to
foster, adopt, or just simply take out for walks (with signed waiver,
18 years or older). Lucky is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and up
to date on all of his shots. Lucky`s adoption fee is currently
discounted to $80 with approved adoption application (link below).

The first thing we require the Adopters to do is fill out one of our applications. Once they get that turned into us we call landlords, vets, and references and check to make sure their animals have all been up to date and make sure their landlords( if they have one ) are okay with them bringing home a new animal. We also call the references to make sure they are good animal owners. We will also look at whether or not you have a fenced in yard and how big your yard is ( if adopting a dog). We want to make sure we have the best fit home for the animals. All of our animals have their boosters (adult or puppy). Some are fixed and some are not. We do have a spay/neuter trailer that comes to the shelter at least once a month that spay and neuters our animals.
