Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Max! He came into us as an owner surrender through no fault of his own. He is 8 yrs old but he certainly doesn’t act like it! He may look like a little cow, but he is strong like a bull. Max will have to be the only pet wherever he goes- he’s the king and he knows it! He is good with kids and has enjoyed the time he gets to spend with people here. He gets a little over excited with his leash when he really has to pee- he will grab that leash and try to walk himself right out the door! Little Mr. Independent will likely learn to chill out with this leash business once he is in a home. We feel that is something that we are seeing due to the kennel stress, and may very well resolve once he finds his forever home. His ideal home would include a fenced-in-yard and LOTS of LOVE. Their adoption process

Submit Application

Adopters are welcome to submit their application before or after visiting our shelter. We encourage doing so before for a smooth adoption.

Approve Application

A representative will reach out (usually via email) when processing your application.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

The adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies under 6 months- $300 ($50 back when altered)
Adult dogs- $250
Senior dogs (over 8yrs)- $75

Kittens under 6 months- $55 ($25 refunded when altered)
Adult cats- $65
Senior cats (over 10yrs)- $55

Requirements: All other animals in the home must already be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines, unless the animal is too young. All animals must be inside pets only. If you rent you must come with a signed paper from your landlord, allowing pets. Please fill out an adoption application by following this link

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit, no kill spca. We will adopt out as many animals as we can, but if they never get homes, that's fine, either us workers will take them home, or they will be life time residents. They love it at the shelter. We do not house our dogs in kennels, they have big yards to run in all day, and only sleep in kennels at night. We are one unique shelter.
