Meet Cookie, the dog of MANY toes!

Her favorite activities include hikes playing tug, fetch, and possibly her favorite of all, cuddling on the couch after a good long day. Whether you are ready to hike a mountain, go for a road trip, or just chill on the couch binging Netflix all day, this girl is happy to partake. She would be a great sport dog too if you wanted to dip your toes into the world of sport dogs! But, with winter on the way the only thing this girl has on her to-do list is to snuggle up on the couch in her PJs and hide from the cold.

She has excellent house manners and settles in pretty quickly (she has no issues making herself right at home in a stranger's house!). She is kennel and potty trained and tends to be on the quiet side. This girl would be perfect to get you out of the house and moving after a day at work!

Cookie is currently in foster with our trainer learning basic manners like sit, down, come, leash walking, and is doing great!

She is easy to live with and hard not to love, and we promise you will get used to the toes, mostly...

If you are looking for a great dog with training AND enjoy a dog with fancy extra toes, this dog might be the one for you!

Homeward Bound Waggin is an all volunteer animal rescue and transport organization. We pull animals slated to be euthanized in our rural area and then find no kill rescues in other parts of the country that can take them. We also make them available for adoption in a broader geographical area.
