**Meet River! (Aka "Poke" 🌟)**

Hello there! My name’s River, but my foster parents lovingly call me "Poke" because of all my adorable little polka dots. Warning: do *not* make eye contact, or you might just get lost in them!

I'm a sweet, gentle pup with the softest soul. Loud noises can startle me, and I might let out a little yelp, but give me a second, and I’m back to my playful self. I love to play tug-of-war, and I’m learning to go potty in the right place. I’m getting better every day, even if I don’t always remember. I can sit on command too—but treats make me soooo excited I just can’t contain myself!

I’m an energetic little guy when I’m awake, always ready for an adventure. But when I've worn myself out, I transform into the biggest snuggle bug you’ll ever meet. Cuddles, kisses, laying on you… you name it, I’m there. I’m pretty sure I’m a lap dog (even if I might not stay small forever), and since my kitten foster siblings get away with it, why shouldn’t I?

I may have been the smallest boy in my litter, but I pack a lot of personality and love into this little body. I’m a clever pup, but I lost my mom early, so I’m still learning how to navigate this world. With the right guidance and patience, I promise to be the most loyal, cuddle-loving companion.
