Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Intake Date: 31 August 2024 -------- Age at intake:1.5 yrs ----- Breed: Jack Russell Terrier Mix ----- Size: 18 lbs ----- Status: owner surrender. ----- Compatible with: Dogs, cats, children. ----- Suitable for: home with a fenced yard. Possible apartment with leashed exercise ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Bordeaux! This adorable little dude came to rescue with 5 others! His family became homeless and he was in a vehicle waiting to be rescued. Bordeaux appears to be a jack russell terrier mix and has the cute wire hair coat and is very calm and quiet most of the time. He is on the shy side and would absolutely love a home with his buddy Bellini, but will settle for any home with another dog. He sometimes sings when outside but mostly is a quiet guy. He loves cuddles, curling up on the couch, and genuinely just being a good boy. Bellini and Bordeaux are peas in a pod and so similar in personality. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. Adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is required.
