Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ninja (12) and Lightning (11) are an inseparable pair with a lifetime of love and companionship to share. These bonded seniors are looking for a special, patient adopter to provide a calm, nurturing home where they can slowly adjust and feel safe.
Having been together since Lightning was a kitten, Ninja has always been the loving protector. Their connection is heartwarming – from Lightning cleaning Ninja’s face to their sweet morning ritual of sitting together, soaking up the sunshine. Though they once enjoyed outdoor adventures, they are now seeking an indoor-only home where they can thrive in comfort and safety.
At the shelter, Ninja and Lightning are still very shy and slowly learning to trust their favorite volunteers and staff. They will need time, patience, and a quiet environment to come out of their shells. With gentle care, Ninja’s affectionate, lap-loving nature and Lightning’s sweet personality will begin to shine. Once they feel secure, they’ll reward you with their tender bond, playful moments, and trust.
Both are on daily medication for hyperthyroidism, but they handle it well and are ready for the next chapter in a loving home. If you’re ready to give these two shy but loving cats the time and care they need to bloom, reach out today. Ninja and Lightning can’t wait to find a peaceful place to call their own! 🐾💖
